Aberlour House is the Junior School of Gordonstoun School and situated on the mains Shcool campus in Moray, Scotland. It caters for boys and girls from aged 8 to 13 pupils on a boarding or day basis. Weekly and flexi boarding is also available.

The aim of the Gordonstoun Schools is the balanced development of its students to enable them to play a positive part as young citizens in their communities, while obtaining the qualifications they need to continue this aspiration and to achieve success at the next stage of their education and their lives.

Thus academic success is important but so too are endeavour and achievements in all other areas, harnessed to the development of spiritual awareness and a sense of responsibility.

The motto of the Gordonstoun Schools is Plus est en Vous (There is more in you than you think). Individual effort against a background of solid teamwork is the aim, remembering that almost all things can be fun to do and all children can be happy doing them.

Aberlour House, like Gordonstoun, has a long tradition of welcoming children from all over the world, some of whom English is not their first language. Safe and reliable collection from, and delivery to, our two local airports, Aberdeen and Inverness, can be counted on and wherever possible is arranged so that the children can keep each other company on their journeys. Pupils from overseas can benefit from dedicated teaching of English as an Additional Language, if they so wish, and equally from joining in with the many and varied activities - academic, artistic, cultural and sporting - which all form part of the ongoing life of the school.
