Burgess Hill School for Girls has a happy, challenging, supportive atmosphere, which encourages young people to use their initiative, be inquisitive and creative, and develop responsibility and independence.

Ours is a school in which girls flourish. The focus is firmly on girls and the way they learn. They develop self esteem and confidence and go on to make positive contribution in their chosen professions. Burgess Hill School for Girls is constantly highly ranked nationally and regularly leads the field in Sussex. We believe that education for life involves much more that academic success alone.

We do not specialise in any one area - all subject areas and wider activities are catered for and to extremely high standards. Girls can, and do, strive for excellence wherever their talents lie.

All this is achieved in a friendly and focused environment. Our girls work hard, play hard and support each other in doing so. It is the norm to approach work with diligence and commitment - excellent attributes for a successful future.
