Aldwickbury provides the opportunity of boarding for the boys in years 7 and 8. There are 36 available places in a secure and comfortable environment. The Headmaster and his wife are responsible for the boarders and there is a matron on duty in the evenings who cares for their immediate needs. Many other staff also help care for the boys in the evenings. Indeed in our recent inspection report relationships between staff and pupils were highlighted as a strength of the school.
The dormitories have recently been renovated to ensure that there is a real home away from home feel upstairs. Boarding is a central part of an Aldwickbury education and forms the basis of our extended day.
