School Profile
Formed in 2008 from the merger of Shrewsbury High School's Junior Department and Kingsland Grange Prep School for boys, the pupils benefit from superb facilities in 13 acres of grounds, close to the town centre and Shrewsbury School.
There is a strong sense of community in this school, with lots of parental involvement and a full range of activities in the extended school day. Across the core curriculum boys and girls are taught separately, but they come together for areas such as Drama and Music.
At 11 it is expected the girls move up to Shrewsbury High School's Senior Departmetn, while the boys stay on to age 13, when they take the Common Entrance Examination.
