Stonar School is unique and offers your daughter the very best chance of an excellent all-round education.

Our aim is to encourage your daughter not only to make the most of her talents but also to provide her with the opportunities to experience new challenges and to scale new heights in everything that she does.

We aim for excellence in all that we do from the wide range of academic subjects through sport, music, art and drama. Stonar girls are happy and effective learners who are conscious of the needs of others.

The school staff are well qualified and able to offer individual attention in small teaching groups. Girls with particular difficulties are supported through specialist teaching and those who are very able are encouraged to participate in an exciting extension programme working with students from other schools.

Girls are encouraged to take on responsibility. There is a keen emphasis on developing positive personal relationships. Being able to work well with others is a vital skill in today's society. Pastoral care is strong and all girls follow a programme of personal, social, moral and health education as they progress through the school.
